ALONG THE PANORAMIC PLEASURE TRAIL

Go hiking along the Tyrol’s prettiest trails

Hiking in Austria’s high mountains is good for the body and soul, and is always a special experience.

The one thing that sometimes turns off people is the effort required to reach the summit. Not so in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. First of all the location of the villages on the plateau means that you are already 1,200 to 1.400 m above sea level and secondly the Panoramic Pleasure Trail, which is due to open this summer, offers easy hikes.

For instance, you can take the gondola car and glide up to the Komperdell midway station in Serfaus. This is where the delights of the mountain really start. A wide, well built hiking trail without major uphill sections takes you in the direction of Fiss towards the Möseralm.

The magnificent panorama and the countless peaks at altitudes approaching 3,000 m are a visual delight and offer an intensive experience of nature. You can then take the gondola back down to Fiss – or simply walk this route. Those who do will find themselves hiking through freshly mown flowering meadows to the smallest village of Ladis. Obviously you can also enjoy hiking along the Panoramic Pleasure Trail by setting off in Ladis and taking the reverse route.
