s'Paules & s'Seppls haus. Village Museum Fiss.
The stately Oberinntal drive-through farm dominates the old village center of Fiss, a community of 1,000 inhabitants, with its large round-arched gate, tiny windows and ornate roof construction.
Like many farms in this region, it shared the fate of real division until the very end, when the farm was abandoned a few decades ago. With careful interventions the architect team "HG MERZ from Stuttgart (Mercedes Benz Museum) created a "new" museum, which documents on the one hand the very varied building history of the house, but also the life of its inhabitants.
