Muirenkapelle (Pestkapelle)
The "Muirenkapelle" was built in 1637 for the avoidance of the black death which was in Serfaus for three years. The small gabled building with its open bell frame houses a charming early baroque altar by the sculptor Adam Payr from Prutz from the year 1640. In the center of the chapel stands St. Sebastian, accompanied by the statues of Rochus and Pirmin, also revered as saint of the black death. Above them is a Madonna with child.
