The influence of the low-pressure system is now gradually weakening. A Friday that will remain somewhat changeable for the time being will be followed by a marked rise in air pressure over the weekend. This will stabilise the weather, although it will remain slightly changeable for the time being. The sunshine will continue to be accompanied by harmless, high cloud fields, which will repeatedly dampen it but will rarely cast shadows. Added to this are temperatures that continue to rise overall, so that a hint of late summer may return. However, as we are only on the periphery of a high-pressure system centred over Western Europe, further harmless, high cloud fields may drift across the mountains at the start of the week, accompanied by a brisk north-westerly wind, bringing with them a slight drop in temperature. However, this does not signal a change in the weather. On the contrary, from Tuesday onwards, the high-pressure system will fully establish itself over us from the west, heralding a new, longer-lasting spell of fine weather.
