Culinary Hike

You choose the way

Step by step through the Tyrolean mountains, with new moments of indulgence at every turn: on the culinary hike, you decide which route to take and in which of the six restaurants you enjoy your four-course surprise menu. Each course is served in a different restaurant, each with its own unique atmosphere.

You choose both the hiking route and the dining stops. The hosts serve you an aperitif, starter, soup, main course, and sweet dessert – all fresh and regional. Options include:

Hiking routes tips

  • Ascent to Möseralm, hike to Schönjochbahn mid station, ascent to BergDiamant Panoramic Restaurant, hike to Schöngampalm, from there easy ride on a bike 12 km to Fiss.

  • Ascent on Schönjochbahn to BergDiamant Panoramic Restaurant, hike to Möseralm and Leithe Wirt

  • Ascent on Schönjochbahn to BergDiamant Panoramic Restaurant, hike to Komperdellbahn top station. Ascent on Komperdellbahn to Lassida restaurant, descent to the Komperdellbahn top station, hike to Seealm Hög restaurant und down to Serfaus

  • Ascent on Alpkopfbahn to Seealm Hög restaurant, hike to Leithe Wirt and Möseralm, or the other way round.

  • Ascent to Lassida restaurant, hike to Seealm Hög restaurant. Continue hike to Möseralm or Leithe Wirt restaurants.

The hike can be booked up to two days in advance. Unfortunately, no reservations can be made after this time. Simply call to reserve your place on the culinary hike through the mountains of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

Barbecue station Schöngampalm

Be the grill master

Reserve your own barbecue spot at the rustic Schöngampalm and enjoy a relaxed afternoon grilling with family or friends in an idyllic mountain setting. Everything is prepared for you: the charcoal is glowing, dishes and cutlery are ready, and the ingredients are seasoned and portioned for the grill. All you need to do is put on your apron and find the perfect cooking point.

Alpine snack with mountain air included

Enjoy a relaxed picnic surrounded by nature with a selection of regional specialities. Your backpack is packed with homemade delicacies such as local bacon, venison sausage, cured meats, mountain cheese, alpine butter, pickled vegetables, savoury spreads, hunters’ sausage, farmhouse bread and a drink of your choice. A thermal blanket ensures you can get comfortable at your favourite spot.

Start your morning with a refreshing orange juice at the Panoramarestaurant BergDiamant and then enjoy freshly baked bread, soft butter, jams, beef tartare, smoked fish, sausage and cheese. Float gently three rounds above Fiss and round off your experience with a sweet treat from the kitchen.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast in the Tyrolean mountains and enjoy the view of the summer alpine panorama. Whether on the sun terrace, in a cosy parlour, or high above Fiss and Serfaus – the mountain restaurants in the region focus on sustainable products from the local area. On your breakfast plate, you’ll find, among other things, “Fisser Goggala” eggs, bread from the local bakery, and yoghurt from nearby farms. After breakfast, you can set off well-fuelled onto the hiking trails or bike routes – getting up early is definitely worth it!
