Weather report

A storm front over Germany is moving slowly towards Eastern Europe. This means that winter weather conditions will remain until Sunday. From Saturday to Sunday, we will experience strong winds and cold, wet conditions in the northwest. The snow line will be low in the valleys, and heavy snowfall will continue, especially towards the northern edge of the Alps. On Sunday itself, the weather will improve significantly during the day, but it will remain wintry cold for the time being. Next week, the large-scale flow over the Alps will shift noticeably from northwest to southwest. This will bring increasingly milder temperatures from day to day, with the frost line tending to be above rather than below 2000 meters above sea level. A weak warm front with light precipitation may also pass through from Monday to Tuesday. The snow line will rise to around 2000 meters above sea level. Thicker clouds will gradually give way to sunshine towards the middle of the week.
