Weather report

Even on Wednesday, warm, humid air masses from the southwest will continue to influence the weather. After a mostly sunny morning, showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be severe, will develop over the course of the afternoon. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pinpoint exactly where or when thunderstorms will be most likely to occur under these weather conditions. On Thursday, temperatures will cool off noticeably as an Atlantic front approaches. Due to the developing showers and thunderstorms, you will likely need rain gear earlier in the day. Overnight into Friday, the Atlantic front will cross our region, bringing widespread downpours. Friday itself will start with some lingering clouds but will mostly be dry. However, it’s quite possible that thunderstorms will return later in the day. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than they have been recently. Over the weekend, a weak high-pressure system will take hold and temperatures will rise again. It’s simply too early to provide details.
