A real highlight for young skiing enthusiasts will be ‘Murmlis Familienpiste’. This starts at the end of the Gampen run and follows the Mittelabfahrt run towards the Komperdellbahn midway station – it’s varied, family-friendly and great fun. Along the way, Murmli and his friends Fiona, Ingo and Bruno accompany the children on their journey. Partly along the Mittelabfahrt run and partly through the woods near the former zoo, every run becomes a little adventure. To round it all off, there’s a special photo spot where families can take a brilliant souvenir photo with Murmli and his friends.

For decades, the popular Kinderschneealm at Komperdell has been the perfect place for children to take their first turns on the snow. Ahead of the coming winter season, this popular area is being redesigned, modernised and lovingly developed further. The Kinderschneealm is becoming Murmli’s Kinderalm. Together with Murmli and his friends Fiona, Bruno and Ingo, young beginners will discover the world of skiing in a fun and playful way. The conveyor belts will be themed to match, making the introduction to winter sports even more exciting. The result is a lovingly designed practice area that builds on tried-and-tested elements and combines them with new ideas, ensuring unforgettable first days on the slopes in Serfaus.

The existing race track is being transformed into Bertas Raceclub – a special treat for racing fans of all ages. You can race side by side with friends or family: who will cross the finish line first? And to ensure the moment is remembered, a photo is taken right at the start. So every race begins with a very special snapshot.

From the coming winter season, visitors to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis will have another photo spot at their disposal. An oversized triangle will be installed right next to the Alpkopfbahn mountain station, providing an impressive backdrop for photos. The stunning mountain panorama offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable souvenir photo. Free Wi-Fi in the area also means you can share this fantastic holiday experience with friends and family straight away. Children in particular will be thrilled by this new photo spot – Murmli and his friends will be in the photo too!

The new crime mystery trail, ‘Die Kralle’, in Serfaus promises thrilling investigations, tricky puzzles and mysterious clues. Along this 1.5-kilometre-long themed trail, you’ll step into the role of an investigator and set off with a detective in search of a valuable rock crystal.

The new Georama Lazid circular walk in Serfaus is a themed trail around 1.5 km long, suitable for pushchairs and ideal for the whole family. It starts at the Lassida restaurant.

Along the way, there are interactive stations featuring marble runs, fascinating insights into the geology of the Alps and stunning views. Marbles are available right at the start.

The trail leads to the Lawensbahn mountain station and back – the highlight is the large globe at the end. Ideal for families, nature lovers and anyone who wants to combine learning with fun.

The children’s play area at the Fiss ski depot has been refurbished and expanded! The newly designed area offers even more space for playing and exploring. The highlight is the new iWall, which combines exercise and play in an interactive way – for even more fun in the summer.

At Berta’s Burgspielplatz in Ladis, little knights and damsels can enjoy plenty of fun and games. Two interconnected knight’s towers, complete with slides, swings, climbing frames and a suspension bridge, invite children to explore and let off steam. For the youngest visitors, there is a play kitchen and a separate squire’s house with a small slide – ideal for imaginative play.

The heart-shaped photo spot at the Wonnealm provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable souvenir photos. Nestled within the stunning mountain landscape, it’s the ideal spot for capturing special snapshots with a magnificent panoramic view. A lovely place to pause for a moment and enjoy the view.

The new ‘Lichtblicke’ circular walk near the Platöll playground is the perfect spot for a special evening stroll. Illuminated columns featuring artistically designed motifs from Serfaus cast the village in an atmospheric glow as dusk falls.

At our photo points at the Schönjoch in Fiss, at the Sonnenburg, on the Wonnealm and at the Almbahn mountain station, you can take personalised souvenir photos and turn them into digital postcards.

The finished postcard can be sent digitally in no time at all – as a special memento of an eventful day in the mountains of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis already boasts over 200 km of cycle trails covering all levels of difficulty. The range of facilities has now been expanded once again for this summer: a second beginners’ park, featuring a conveyor belt, three trails and pump tracks, has been created at the Komperdell valley station. This means that beginners – both children and adults – can get started with trail cycling right there on the spot.

You can find the right bike and all the necessary kit for a safe and fantastic day at the Serfaus Bike Beginner Park in one of the many sports shops in Serfaus – both right next to the valley station and in the village centre.

Bike courses can still be booked at the Waldbahn, but what’s new is that you can now also start from Serfaus.

The pump track at the Sonnenbahn valley station in Ladis offers a variety of fun riding experiences for children. Two differently designed routes encourage children to improve their riding technique in a playful way and enjoy their first cycling adventures. It’s the ideal place for exercise, developing skills and having lots of fun.

The Planseggbahn, which has been in operation since 1997, will be replaced from winter 2026/27 by a modern 8-seater chairlift manufactured by Leitner. On peak days, up to 17,000 visitors use this heavily frequented facility. With an investment of around 30 million euros, Seilbahn Komperdell GmbH is focusing on improved quality and comfort.

The new lift features heated seats, weather protection hoods with an automatic closing mechanism, and a child-safe safety bar. The capacity will increase from 3,000 to 4,000 passengers per hour, whilst the speed will be raised to 6 m/s, reducing the journey time to under 5 minutes. A total of 91 chairs are in operation, and a display chair is already on show at the Komperdell valley station.

The autonomous mountain station, which is monitored by the system, is particularly innovative. Despite this technology, a member of staff will still be on site to ensure the usual level of service.

The Gratabfahrt will be significantly widened in the winter of 2026/27, offering winter sports enthusiasts even more space for a relaxed skiing experience in future. This will improve comfort and safety, whilst also creating more space for skiers of all ability levels – for even more fun on the slopes.

The descent to the midway station will be significantly improved by a substantial widening of the lower ski run. In addition, the final steep section will be made less steep and the snow-making system along the run will be extended.

Once again, significant investment is being made in modernising the snow-making system in Serfaus for the coming winter season. The systems are being expanded and optimised in several areas of the ski resort (including the Lawens run, the Peischlkopf run, the Böderkopf run, the Lazid Nord run, the Plansegg-Direkt run, and along the toboggan run).

With the completion of the Hög pumping station and the installation of 35 additional propeller-type snow guns, the artificial snowmaking system will be even more powerful. This will ensure the best possible conditions for a winter season with guaranteed snow, perfectly groomed slopes and carefree skiing in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

The popular Sun Park is set to be expanded in the winter of 2026/27 and will offer even more variety for freestyle beginners and advanced riders. In addition to the existing beginner and kicker lines, a new rail line and a varied funslope line will be created. This brings the total number of lines to four, ensuring even more flow, action and fun in the snow.

More space, more enjoyment, more panoramic views: the Panorama Restaurant Komperdell is set to undergo a complete refurbishment in time for the 2026/27 winter season, emerging as a more spacious, modern and welcoming venue. Guests can look forward to increased seating capacity, a new espresso bar for the perfect break between activities, and an improved free-flow area for even greater comfort. The meeting place right in the heart of the ski resort, perfectly combining culinary delights, stunning views and a modern ambience.

An additional catering facility (similar to an outdoor bar) is being built at the Planseggbahn valley station. The bar will be partially covered, with the option to open the canopy on sunny days. There will be around 90 seats inside, with a further 150 on the sun terrace. The bar offers a great opportunity to stop for a quick break between runs.

From 19 October 2026, the Fiss Information Office of the Tourist Board will be located in the new Fissikus Education Centre at Obere Dorfstraße 14, 6533 Fiss.

Due to renovation work on the Landecker Tunnel, there may be traffic disruption when travelling to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. 

As part of the construction of the new Planseggbahn, there will be local diversions and road closures in the Komperdell/Plansegg area during the 2026 summer season. Please follow the up-to-date signage and route guidance on site.

Please also note that you must not enter the pastureland within the construction site area.

The Quellenweg is not open to pushchairs or young children this summer. This is due to the increased level of construction activity and site traffic on the final section of the path.
