As a consequence of new snow and warming a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation will prevail. Weakly bonded old snow represents the main danger.

During the first half of the night as the snowfall level rises there will be an appreciable increase in the avalanche danger to level 3 (considerable). Individual natural avalanches are possible during the course of the night, in particular medium-sized ones. Single winter sport participants can release avalanches easily. This applies in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2000 m.

As a consequence of the rain more frequent gliding avalanches and snow slides are possible, but they will be mostly small.
