Weather report

The extremely hot air from the weekend will be pushed eastward at the start of the week. This will bring a slight cooling across much of the region. However, conditions will remain oppressively humid and unstable. Following sunny spells, heavy downpours and thunderstorms may develop in some areas as Monday progresses. Tuesday will bring a temporary improvement, before new thunderstorms roll in during the afternoon. A detailed forecast in terms of both location and timing simply isn’t feasible under these weather conditions, as the situation can suddenly become turbulent anywhere and at any time. An Atlantic front will begin to affect the weather on Wednesday. It will bring thunderstorms with heavy downpours and noticeably cooler air masses early in the day. After the middle of the week, the weather and temperatures will start to rise again. An outlier of the Azores High is extending its reach toward us.
