Summer isn’t giving up just yet over the next few days. At the start of the week, on Monday, the sun will shine for longer stretches during the day, and it will become pleasantly warm by the afternoon. Cumulus clouds over the mountains could become a bit thicker here and there later on, but the likelihood of thunderstorms and rain showers is rather low. On Tuesday, the weather will become a bit more unstable. Although the sun will continue to shine at times, cumulus clouds will increase from the southwest, and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are possible. By midweek, high-pressure conditions will strengthen again. As a result, the sun will often shine for longer periods, and temperatures will even reach midsummer levels. In addition, southerly foehn effects will gradually become noticeable, signaling the approach of an Atlantic front after midweek. This front is expected to increasingly influence the weather on Friday, bringing rain showers and thunderstorms.
