Intro
A beautiful mountain trail going all around the Zwölferkopf with splendid views of the furthest Urgtal valley and sublime roundabout views of the innumerable peaks of the Alpenhauptkamm and the northern Kalkalpen. You can hike it in both directions.
Tour description
Behind the cable car station (F087) on the north side, walk a short bit down the Plazörweg trail (F095), then turn off on the panorama trail (F096), cross the Zwölferbahn and the Almbahn and go up slightly to a beautiful panorama viewpoint. (F099). From here, continue along the western slopes to the Zwölferjoch (F101) and on the southern flank trail, back to your point of departure (F087).
