s'Paules and s'Sepplas house - museum
The stately Oberinntaler Durchfahrtshof dominates the old village center of the 1000-inhabitant community of Fiss with its large arched gate, tiny windows, and artistically decorated roof structure.
Like many farms in this region, it shared the fate of subdivision until the farm was abandoned a few decades ago.
Through careful interventions, the architecture team "HG MERZ from Stuttgart (Mercedes Benz Museum) created a "new" museum that documents both the very diverse building history of the house and the life of its residents.
