Follow the marmots: this varied alpine trail leads through a high-altitude marmot habitat to Lake Furglersee, offering impressive mountain views and fascinating insights into the world of these furry inhabitants.
Tour description
From the mountain station of the Lazidbahn (S301), the path first follows the wide carriageway to Scheid (S217). From WW (S218) behind the lift station, the path leads to the Marmot Trail 25a, over the Kitzköpfl to the Furglersee (S211). From the Furglersee, follow the long-distance hiking trail 702 (Trail 21), crossing the Malfrist meadows to Komperdell (Kölner Haus).
