On March 20th, 2026, Fiss will be the venue for a special event: The recruits of the March 2026 enlistment date will take their oath of allegiance to the Republic of Austria.

The community warmly invites all citizens and guests to witness this important moment.

Program:

• 3:00 PM: Concert by the Tyrolean Military Band at the music pavilion, joint march to the Cultural Center with all formations
• 4:00 PM: Ceremony with official swearing-in in front of the Fiss Fire Station
