Maternity leave position for head of building authority

The municipality of Serfaus is seeking to fill the position of Head of the Building Department on a part-time or full-time basis as a temporary leave of absence.

Tasks

Factual and technical management, as well as coordination of the building and spatial planning administration
Handling of construction procedures including issuing permits, construction supervision, and enforcement of all building regulations
Support and construction supervision of municipal projects (building and civil engineering), including budgeting, implementation, billing control, operational planning, construction yard coordination, funding processing
Processing of zoning and development plans
Preparation of and participation in oral hearings in the aforementioned specialist areas - Cooperation with political decision-makers
Tax assessments for development costs, water and sewerage connection fees
Management of wastewater and water matters
Preparation of meetings, participation in meetings, taking minutes of meetings and handling all matters dealt with at the meetings

Qualifications

Completed civil engineering training (e.g. HTL/FH/TU)
Professional experience in civil engineering and building design is an advantage
Very good IT skills
Great commitment, flexibility, problem-solving skills and team orientation
Willingness to undertake professional development and pass required service examinations
Completed civilian or military service (for male applicants)
