Weather report

We are starting the new week with continued changeable but only slightly unstable weather. This means little change, also in terms of temperatures. The mild air masses have settled in for the long term, and clouds are continuing to dominate the sky. There may still be some precipitation from time to time especially towards the northern edge of the Alps. The snow line is around 1800 meters above sea level. Towards the south, in the direction of the main Alpine ridge, the clouds are slightly less compact, and there is hardly any precipitation. A high-pressure system from the Mediterranean region will prevail in our region from Wednesday onwards. It will bring even milder and, above all, significantly drier air. With bright sunshine, the frost line will temporarily be at 3000 meters above sea level on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will bring hardly any change in weather or temperature. Spring is already showing strong signs of life with a slight southwesterly foehn.
