Weather report

The influence of the high-pressure system over northeastern Europe will weaken noticeably at the start of the new week, and we will once again be affected by the foehn winds at the front of an Atlantic low-pressure system and its low-pressure branches over the western Mediterranean. Monday promises to be mostly sunny with few clouds. However, the southerly foehn is already picking up in the mountains. Towards Tuesday, the southerly foehn will continue to gain strength, and it will become stormy in the mountains. North of the main Alpine ridge, it will remain dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds will accumulate on the main Alpine ridge itself, and some precipitation is to be expected here during the day. There will be little change in this weather pattern on Wednesday. The southerly foehn in the mountains will weaken slightly, but denser cloud fields may extend northward. Nevertheless, it will remain dry north of the main Alpine ridge. On the main Alpine ridge itself, a little precipitation is to be expected again. On Thursday, the weather will remain changeable with foehn winds, and some precipitation is still possible. The weather outlook for Friday also looks quite changeable and not very stable.
