Correct behavior and help in an emergency in the Tyrolean mountains
Safety on the mountains
Maintaining proper conduct up in the mountains is vital to ensure your safety and that of others. Caution and respect are key on the mountain. It’s crucial to show respect, both in relation to other hikers and nature itself, where you can recharge your batteries in the open air.
If we all keep to a few basic rules, it is perfectly possible for everyone to safely enjoy the mountains in their own way:
- Whenever possible, stay on marked paths
- Always close gates
- Do not leave any rubbish behind
- Behave with consideration towards other “nature users”
