SFL Extrem Tour 7100
The transport of bicycles with the cable cars in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is subject to a charge. More Information HERE.
Level of difficulty: hard
Starting point: Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
Description:The SFL Extrem Tour is one of the most challenging circuits in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region. This tour poses a real challenge in terms of fitness and riding technique. The long climb up to the Schönjoch ridge, with 1,650 m of altitude gain over 18.2 km, calls for real powers of endurance. If you run out of steam, you can take an “emergency exit” through the Urgtal valley.
From the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Bikepark, take the forest path to Serfaus through the village to the St. Zeno area. From here continue downhill as far as Tschuppbach. From Tschuppbach, follow the old Roman bike trail via Untertösens as far as Frauns and then on to Ried. There are short passages where you have to push your bike. Follow the course of the Inn river to Prutz/Entbruck and take the Innradweg Bike Trail as far as the Neuer Zoll. This is where the demanding climb to the Schönjoch ridge begins. Turn right before the bridge and follow the bike trail to Niedergallmigg and through the tiny village of Fassern. After a short forest section keep left at the first fork. Follow the signs into the Urgtal valley as far as the Schöngampalm (F039). If you’ve run out of steam, you can take the easy option here and follow route 730 back to Fiss. Take the Emmerich-Pale trail from the Schöngampalm up to the Schönjoch ridge (F079). If you manage this climb, you’re rewarded with a stunning panoramic view. You descend via the bike trail to Steinegg. Turn left at the signpost F060 just after Steinegg. Continue via Obersteinboden to the Frommes Alp. From there follow the bike trail downhill and the Almweg back to the bike park in Fiss.
