U-Bahn Serfaus
The world's smallest, highest-altitude air cushion suspenion underground railway has been runing in Serfaus since 1985. It was expanded and modernised at great expense in the last two years and shines in a whole new light. On 5 December 2019 the moment finally arrived and the underground started in a new modern and innovative era. Up to 3,000 people an hour can be carried to the bottom station of the cable cars - free of charge, free of nose and free of emissions. On account of the state-of-the-art technology the air-cushion railway glides from one themed station to the next conveniently and gently and serves as an effective traffic calming measure for the village.
