Underground Serfaus
The world's smallest and highest underground railway suspended on air cushions has been running in Serfaus since 1985. Over the past two years, it has been extensively extended and modernised and now shines in a completely new outfit. On 5 December 2019, the time had come and it entered a new, modern and innovative era. Up to 3,000 people per hour can be transported to the cable car valley station at a whispering pace - free of charge, noise and emissions. The innovations can also be felt in a very comfortable way, as the state-of-the-art technology allows the air cushion underground railway to glide comfortably and gently from one themed station to the next and also helps to keep the town traffic-calmed.
