Römerweg enduro tour

Level of difficulty: hard
Starting point: Bikepark SFL

Description: We follow in the footsteps of the ancient Romans. Although we don’t follow exactly the historic Roman bike trail from Tschuppbach up to St. Georgen, where one of the most important churches of the Oberes Gericht has been located since the Middle Ages, you can’t help but have a real sense of history as you ride this trail. In other words, there are lots of amazing things to see. But the trail is very challenging in terms of fitness. It’s mainly the daunting climb with a gradient of up to 18% from Tschuppbach up to Stadelwies that poses the real challenge.

Starting at the bike park, the trail follows the Waldweg trail to Serfaus, past the Parkcafe (S010) heading towards Serfauser Feld. The trail to Frauns starts next to the lowest houses. Turn right at the end of the trail and follow the Inn river to Tösens and on to Tschuppbach. This section of the trail has one passage where you have to carry or push your bike. To avoid this, turn left towards Ried at the end of the trail and follow the bike trail 1 as far as Tschuppbach. From Tschuppbach, follow the gravel path, steep to start with, to Stadelwies and then the asphalt bike trail on to Serfaus and back to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Bikepark.
